Guidance in social media should be training wheels, teaching the company how to execute for themselves. The only long term, viable strategy for really doing social media well is hands on participation, not outsourcing. Agencies and consultants are awesome advisors, but they're not the ones that should be getting out there and speaking for you.

Had a few fun smiles at your list, but you dole out some solid tips. Thanks for the shoutout too; you know we agree that listening is fundamental. :)
