John leads the Consulting Practice in Hong Kong. He joined OgilvyOne in April 2009, as a first timer in the agency business, after having spent >15+ years working for large multinational clients in North America and Asia. The Consulting Practice is engaged with clients in various industries develop business solutions, beyond communications. Areas of expertise range from business strategy & planning, marketing program development to measurement, analytics and optimization. Prior to Ogilvy, John worked for UBS where he was working as an internal strategy consultant for the CEO of Private Wealth Management group. He worked closely with the HK, TW and SG business units. Previously, he worked for HSBC in North America in Corporate Strategy and previously leading Marketing Strategy & CRM for the credit card division. And John started his career working in the travel industry for Hyatt International Hotels where he was responsible for the marketing strategy of 80 hotels in 36 countries. He helped integrate database marketing with brand management, e-business, marketing communications and revenue management. He is digitally passionate and excited about the opportunities that lay ahead.
