John is a Regional Director for Ogilvy 360 Digital Influence. He comes from the Washington DC office where he was a Digital Strategist. His experience is in the technology and B2B sector, having recently worked on social media programs for IBM, American Express, MedImmune, and DuPont.
He also recently participated in Ford’s Summer of Taurus program in which senior executives of the company traveled around the country and met with local auto enthusiast bloggers. His work in documenting those travels can be found on The Ford Story.
John has also developed social media training programs for a variety of clients and has been a guest lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland, and Georgetown University speaking about the role of social media in marketing and communications programs.
He’s a primary contributor to the 360° Digital Blog – and the co-host of That Social Media Show, a weekly podcast covering the news across the social web. John graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Communications and currently lives in Hong Kong.
