Natasha Hanckel-Spice

Natasha is a Digital Analyst on the Ogilvy 360 Digital Influence team and works with a number of clients, including Malaysia Kitchen, Microsoft Australia, Australia Private Hospital Association, and Kimberly-Clark on programs leveraging social media and online communities for word of mouth marketing.

Natasha has a wide range of experience in communication, management and analytics. Prior to joining Ogilvy, Natasha was an account manager at boutique marketing and communications agency inqbase in Sydney where she managed creative design and build projects from scoping to launch. In addition, Natasha previously worked at Taronga Zoo and helped to develop their social media strategy and is responsible for bringing one of the first chimpanzee families in the world onto Facebook.

Within the Ogilvy 360 Digital Influence team Natasha works across a range areas that include health, technology, consumer and events as well as issues and crisis management. Since joining the team she has developed engaged and active communities for her clients, identified and built relationships with online influencers and developed marcom insights through listening and analysing social media conversations. She believes that there should be more understanding of the challenges that face both bloggers and public relations professionals and she is passionate about developing a relevant and practical Code of Ethics for blogger outreach which can be used across all Ogilvy PR companies.

Half English, half Australian, Natasha has family scattered around the globe and is an avid traveller, reader, art goer and general culture addict. Natasha is a passionate word of mouth practitioner and is actively involved in the social media community in Sydney, volunteering with the media team at the Byron Bay Blue and Roots festival and an active member of the Social Media Club Sydney.
